Young people staying at Woodsell

The John Foran Foundation aims to run and host specialist visits, work placements, and residential training courses at Woodsell with a focus on 16-30 year-olds. Our programme is ideal for those interested in wildlife and conservation, environmental land management, nature recovery, design, and regenerative systems through hands-on, place-based learning. We also host Duke of Edinburgh residential groups and well as youth-led events.

Woodsell provides a perfect site for exploration, education and hope for a new generation. We have a basic camping area for group event along with more comfortable accommodation in the farm buildings. There is also an education centre with a large teaching room, kitchen and toilet facilities.
